We Will Welcome Spring.

We Will Welcome Spring.  Watercolor.
Approximately 7.5 x 13 inches.
I just reset IFTT to only post my Instagram photos on my blog under more limited conditions.  I had opened it up to any watercolor I posted (see Here), and if you've been watching this blog, you've probably noticed that I have a new post almost every day.  I'm walking it back just a tad.  I'll be painting a bunch this month since the Northminster Fine Arts Fair is coming the first weekend in February, and I do not want to overwhelm you.

(If you live in Cincinnati, you should pencil that in--Northminster Fine Arts Fair, Saturday, February 3rd)

And, one of the posts from earlier today was a draft of this painting that I did as a greeting card.  You can see that here.  I didn't stay quite true to my smaller painting, but I like the larger one better.

We will definitely welcome spring.  It has been brutally cold here for a few days and it is supposed to continue that way through at least the weekend.

It is Prussian blue, quin red, and permanent yellow deep on Kilimanjaro 300 lb paper, cold press.

Drafting a #landscape. Same palette as my last floral. These cards are an awkward size to scale, so I still thinking..... #painteveryday #watercolor
