Why I Paint--Part II

My last post was about how painting is like meditation for me.  The second reason why I paint--hmmm. This may be harder to articulate than I thought.....

I think that it forces me to pay attention to my surroundings.  And, then by paying attention, I can try and reinterpret how my mind sees things.

I'll have to think some more on this.

Anyhow, this is an extension of my last palette (same colors) on Kilamanjaro 300 lb cold press paper with a little Caran D'ache crayon overlaid.
