I picked up an inexpensive bouquet of flowers at Kroger earlier this week, and gave them a whirl as a still life.  I don't typically look at things while I paint them.  Sometimes I do, but for the most part not.  In this case, I was, although the view was about 90 degrees rotated from the photo below.

For five dollars in flowers, it was a fun exercise.
